WTF

I'd be annoyed too!

Too bad you'd didn't wave one of the crutches into her mouth.
OH!! did I really say that??????

*runs*
Some people just aren't happy unless they have someone else to pick on. Guess her usual victim was unavailable. I'll have a glass out of that bottle if you don't mind! 8:-)
Generously invite her to mow the little bit in front of your house.

Promise you wont be offended and the exercise will give her something to do with her day. With any luck by 9.30 she will be asleep.

Oh, you should have just clunked her with one of your crutches! Ooops, sorry about that. Here's let me get a weed to clean that up...

hahahaha I was going to say the same as Margy! WHOOPS - did you trip over that?? or ask her if she is prejudiced against disabled people! :)

And that is why the didn’t pass the “able to kill stupid people law” they figured they would be too many dead bodies to deal with -___o

I have lived in the city and for some reason people are more worried about why other people haven’t done what they are supposed to, compared to what they are to get done! You got to love those busy bodies, and there never wrong attitude!

Ugh! I would get quite alarmed if I had a knock on the door at that time of night.

Throw the bottle over her fence or onto her roof when you finish it - and then open another.
Good gosh, where do these people come from?
I hope she felt like shit after she saw you in a cast and on crutches Emmy. WTF.
I'm glad I'm not alone. I was wondering if I was over-reacting!
LOL!! She might have whacked me back - I am a coward!
You are welcome to have a glass anytime! :-)
LOL. She actually pays someone to do her little square of lawn and nature strip. Now that is really lazy! We have handkerchief sized lawns!
LOL! I could have "accidentally" lost my balance and thrown one crutch forward in an attempt to right myself......
Ha -- me, too -- I'd've been cowering behind you!!
LOL ..... the disable question might have worked. Actually, when the taxi pulled up this afternoon I swear those weeds have grown another foot taller today! I will be sitting in here tonight with the lights off!!
And they just made guns legal here in DC........ you are right though about people not attending to their own duties but worrying about what their neighbour is not doing.
Actually yes! Especially in my neighbourhood. I don't normally answer the door at night if I am here on my own but I had a friend over to keep me company and we were making "at home" noises (like playing the stereo loudly) and I felt "caught" .
LOL - great answer! Quite mature (and non-confrontational) I think - especially opening that second bottle. :-)
You have to wonder don't you? I would never presume to do something like this.
I hope so too - but she didn't really look it! Maybe I should have gone over to "apologize" and fallen on her step and then sued her!
LOL! I am definitely the non-confrontation sort!
awwww just have some more wine! :)
Some neighbours you simply cannot back down from, otherwise this sort of nonsense will keep appearing when THEY feel like being bastards. I really like neighbours to be friendly and accommodating, just like I try to be. But when you get a certain type, you have to let the mongrel out.
I totally agree. I am glad that I stood my ground - because I am usually more likely to cower - but I thought she had a "nerve" considering the crap she chucks out into the alley without a second thought. Maybe the crutches make me feel braver - did you know you can buy ice-picks to go on the bottom of crutches!!! :-)
Ice picks for crutches?? Damn, now there's a product that's been crying out to be made!
