wow. Christmas in July?
That could be unsettling.
Did you sing along?
Carols are a little like Abba songs ... humming along is involuntary! :-)
Are you sure it's July there? Oh, I know! Christmas in July!! http://www.theholidayspot.com/christmas_in_july/
LOL! Guess what I found at that link ................
This untimely Christmas festival is also often ascribed to a group of Irish tourists who went for a vacation in Sydney's Blue Mountains in the summer months of July in 1980. Away from the summer temperatures in their country, they were overjoyed at the sight of snow there. It is believed that they convinced the proprietor of a local hotel in the Blue Mountains in New South Wales to hold a party called "Yulefest".

I hate the whole christmas in july concept. Lizzie is going to a christmas themed party tonight. I always think of all the confused little children out there.
LOL! They must wonder why they are not getting a pressie! It would be a good time to give them potatoes and tell them that the same will happen in December if they are not good! (mean though!).

Well it wasn’t a punk song and his phone conversation didn’t contain “yes “boom”” with over exaggerated hand movements, then just enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

anyway the German version is nicer

[this is good]
LOL - when I set my ITunes to mix, it always takes me a bit to realize that I am listening to the Christmas tunes - humming along is just natural!
[this is good]
Ha ha..that IS surreal. In a good way.
[that is mental] (in a surreal type of way of course)

Carols in July? lol
maybe he likes the tunes? can't understand English?
There was a Christmas tree up in the kids Kung Fu hall the other night.
[this is good]
LOL @ punk. I have never come across a driver playing punk - some Sex Pistols would just make my morning! :-)
LOL - humming along to carols is totally reflexive! It is all that conditioning from childhood! :-)
It struck me as funny first and then strange. I wonder if he played them all day.
LOL @ "that is mental" ....... funny girl! :-)
His English wasn't too bad but might not have extended to understanding Good King Wensceslas!
LOL! That is just as funny!
Thank you for visiting my blog! :-)
too true and you know - I love them - I am the nut that starts playing them at Thanksgiving! :)
LOL! Now that a lot of places are being PC about Christmas they do not play them in all stores in December anymore. :-(
how crazy is that? I am waiting for the day that we do not have to trip over PC soap boxes at every turn - good grief!
